ART ‘N FUROSHIKI EXHIBITION Picture Post (short version)
The exhibition at the Japanese Embassy in Brussels was a great success. My many thanks to the embassy people and all the people who helped in this project.I would like to extend a special thanks to the “Ligne” shop in Brussels, to Ronél Jordaan for her amazing “Rock cushions” and Ritva Puotila for her beautiful paper yarn carpet. Thank you for making the central piece of the exhibition possible !
The furoshiki wrappping workshops were also very popular. All people interested in the artworks and furoshiki textiles and who left their email address will be informed as soon as they are for sale.
Next stage is Japan Expo Belgium at Tour & Taxis, Brussels from 22 to 24 April 2011.
Meanwhile, enjoy the slideshow !
